Шато Тротануа (Château Trotanoy)
Château Trotanoy got its name from the old French « trop anoi » or « trop ennuie », expression that was used to name the work of the fields. It is constituted of 7,2 hectares, which have been the property of Jean-Pierre Moueix since 1953. Château Trotanoy is settled on the most clayey part of the Pomerol sheft, but it is also constituted of small rocks called “graves”. The vines have an average age of 35 years and are constituted of the main varietals of the Pomerol appellation: merlot and cabernet franc. Once assembled, wines are grown in new barrels (50% of the total). Château Trotanoy is a great classic from the Pomerol appellation with a truffle nose.
